A mathematical approach to selecting a subset of wines for investment will involve using data and analytics to identify factors that have historically being correlated with appreciation in wine value.

These factors could include the wine’s vintage, the reputation of the producer, the wine’s geographic origin, and scores from wine critics.

Once these factors are identified, a mathematical risk model will be used to find the minimum investable index tracking model that also minimises market friction.

Phase 2

Predictive analytics will be used to attempt to beat our investable benchmark
