This phase, as the name suggests, involves engaging with a simulated trading environment that meticulously records all transactions based on the prevailing market prices. While it may not be real-time, this period is of utmost significance as it allows us to identify and rectify any issues that may have escaped our initial consideration. Typically, the “Walk Forward” stage spans approximately three months. Upon the completion of this phase, our strategy transitions into the incubation stage, where further refinement and fine-tuning take place.
